Appearence
Complete black as brimstone and coal, his scales are invisible under the soft fur. Tall and regal in design in physique, yet lean and elegant in movement. A handsome man, but at a cost for his charms and looks, as he is tempernmental and sometimes extremely blunt. He suffers from heterochromia allowing him a right green eye and left sky blue eye. Over them are the tattooed fiery markings that snake across his face, snout, ears and forehead. He has five rings of white tattooed on his front legs and the kanji symbol for "salamander" on his right shoulder. His tail tip is also fades into the same white as the rings on his legs.
As for the wings, they are pure black, with the transparency turning the leather into a darkish brown, veins visible if seen from the ground in direct sunlight. They are torn and warn from his many battles on the mountainsides and other Pyralis. Tokage's black horns are similar to those of a prong horn antelope's, thick and come in sets of two the first row closest to his brow are about half the size of the second and are simply straight. He has two spike like horns that poke out from both his cheeks as well. The spikes along his tail are black, slender, and needle sharp.

Personality
He is a warrior who earned his way to the top from knowing honor, courage, and bravery. Although a charming young man, he is also quite serious and calm, though to many he can seem cold and heartless. However, it is only a facade he puts on when in distress or dealing with those that he considers to be annoying or ill-mannered. He does not like getting into meaningless fights, but had gone through many due to the lifestyle he was put in as a child. Respectful he is, but tends to get his ego get the better of him every now and then, which ultimately results in sometimes getting into verbal disputes with others. Unfortunately Tokage himself can be a bit hot-headed and rather arrogant, as it is in his species and nature to be as such. Tokage wishes only to lend out a helping hand to anyone who needs help, and will do whatever he can to protect the ones he cares for and loves.
There is however, one little side to Tokage that certainly makes him differ from his fellow Pyralis. At a young age, Tokage was exposed to multiple types of techniques used for meditation that helped him get "in touch" with his spiritual self. Giving him an upper hand with his battles and supposedly a successful method in his training when it came to be a warrior. It did work, and to this day Tokage still uses these methods. Unfortunately, the method he uses is basically incense and drugs. Using a small flame that he produces he is able to burn multiple types of herbs and grasses that produce a nirvana within the smoke. Once taken in, the senses are heightened and a relaxation takes place in the body, but the mind is absolutely gone. Basically, Tokage is a druggy, and 90% of the time, he is high or in some form of it, for the feeling of euphoria that he gets when entirely engulfed in the pleasant smoke. He becomes extremely kick back and easy going. Though he is a warrior, he still gives himself time to sober up, but when no battles are around and the day is wasting away, Tokage spends his time smoking.

History
Born in the harsh environment in a clan that had long lived and raised their young in dark depths of some of the most rugged mountain terrain. However, despite the appearance of these mountains, the clan that lived there was a rather peaceful and tranquil group, not once having the threat of having to disband or be separated because of violence or war. Tokage was one of three pups born in a single litter, his parents respectful members of their clan, known as the Tenjou clan, or "Heaven's Earth". Despite their peaceful nature, they still trained their men to fight, as it was tradition for the males to exceed academically as well as athletically. Tokage coincidently happened to be the top in his classes and succeeded even his elders.
The day finally came when an eerie darkness crept onto the Tenjou Clan, and with that darkness, brought the battle of many beasts to the peaceful lands. Tokage's siblings were scattered and driven out of the land, and his parents fell in battle along with many of his people. He swore revenge against the beasts that brought this madness upon his people, which many of the rebellious tribes that came were of his own specie, Pyralis. He was soon captured and held as a prisoner in one of the tribes, but rather than killing him, they believed that they could use him instead. Once Tokage had earned the respect from the tribe's leader, he faced him into battle to try to lead the tribe instead of just being a simple foot soldier. He won, despite the odds being against him. Soon afterward, Tokage broke the tribe and turned every member against each other, using their greed and lack of honor to divide the other Pyralis in half. He didn't waste his time on weak and pointless beasts.
It took Tokage a year to travel to the land known as Aevum, and from there he flourished with the other godly creatures until he had successfully learned their ways. Still unattached from his previous life in the Tenjou clan, Tokage kept some of his own teachings with himself, and allowing those belonging to Aevum to give him a mix of talents that he had yet to find.
