It had been nearly three weeks since she'd come to Memoria Pandora and had been accepted as a full member of the Elpis Latuit, the tribe that was reforming in the wake of terrible disaster. Gaia had no complaints. In fact, she was pleased to find a tribe that seemed to be so close to the worship of Demeter that she was, making their home in the centre of Demeter's beautiful garden of trees and plants, and not to mention the medicinal herbs that she enjoyed.
Today, she could feel Spring ever the closer, the sun shining down to illuminate the meadow in a brilliantly moving pattern. The snows of the previous season were beginning to become a distant memory, and everywhere she looked, new buds were beginning to show their heads. So today, she was not out looking for herbs, not scouring the lands for that perfect bunch of lavender, but rather, simply enjoying the sunbeams, almost like a feline, lying in the newborn grass right before the tree that she had called home, eyes mostly closed.
