Trying to get all those power ups ;D so she'll be in the air for a lot of this thread, but we can still have some fun!
The day was sunny, though still a little chilly as spring had only just decided toroll around, which Lee was quite glad about. She didn't mind winter, but it had felt to her as if this particular winter had gone on for a very long time, and she was getting bored of it. It was much more pleasant to fly when it was sunny anyway, and she couldn't wait until the summer so she could just drift through the clouds with the sun warming her shoulders. Cry me a river...

.:OOC:.
Chucks in one recluse .:IC:. Unfortunately for Jublilee a pair of mismatched eyes watched from the edge of the crevice, hidden behind a massive rock formation that jutted skyward. It was an ugly precipice, once that interrupted the smooth stone around it. Unlike the grass that clung meekly to the earth below it made itself known. It was not at all like Cain who's current existence was mainly in the shadow. At one point he had been so garishly standoutish like the rock, but that was in the past. So the male watched, spiraling in lazy circles behind the rock before spying Jubilee. The warm vent was quite a bit different from the lightly chilled air, he knew that. Still he smirked as dawn colored female discovered this and was caught off guard. He knew the way hot and cool air interacted, and subtleties of each, it was a survival skill he had to learn in the north. The femme must have never danced in the border where the cold and the hot warred, vying for control, before from her reaction. Even more interesting still she entered the thermal when she knew it was there, that was normal, but expression she held was one of a lunatic. He didn't like lunatics, they reminded him of his brother. Though he was a bit of a hypocrite with that thought, he could be counted as a bit loony himself. A good knock to the head sometimes did that to you. He frowned and hovered and continued to watch, hoping that his refuge was not interesting enough to investigate. The reason why he wished to be alone was not because he wanted to be. No, it was because he was more than a little scared. |

Lee liked it here. She liked it here a lot! The warm air ruffled her fur and feathers, sending her nice, fuzzy feelings throughout her body. Jubilee had always preffered warm weather to cold, and for a moment she wished she could make a den by it so she could be this warm all the time during the winter. It would be absolute heaven.
Soon, though, Jubilee got tired of hovering above the vent and staying still for so long was putting a strain on her shoulders so she ended up moving again, but not in the direction she had once been going in. No, this time she headed over to some tall rock formation, curious to see if there was anything else ineteresting around for her to have some fun with. She flew slowly and in a care-free way, letting her body float from one side to the other as she made her way around the extremely large rock. She was very surprised to find another Hova behind it, and she stopped abruptly, peering at his multi-coloured fur (she could only see the back of him, his back was to her as she had come around the other side). "Well hello." She said, her blue eyes wide and kind for the moment, still surprised to have found someone in this rather desolate place. Cry me a river...

.:OOC:.
:) .:IC:. He really did not like this more or less new found nervousness of wolves. His earlier memories told him that he had once been confident, once been a leader. If he really tried perhaps he could be so again but he could not find the courage to do so. So he tended to hide in the shadows, not strong enough, even though he wanted to, to behave like a normal confident wolf. He guessed being betrayed kind of did that to you. So the male watched and waited for the inevitable, she would eventually notice him.... right? He wasn't sure if he liked warm weather and the strong thermals it brought. Born in the north, he was accustomed to frigid winds that gnawed at your bones, robbing you of your strength and warmth. It was weird this land, with its warmth akin to summer in early spring. Still, he supposed, he would eventually have time to get used it. Wingbeats sounded behind him and he turned. His solitude had been disturbed by the appearance of another wolf, taking a banking turn around a corner. She was a strange mix of golds, reds, purples and oranges, like the dawn. She stopped abruptly, as if surprised to see him. He supposed that was his fault as he had stayed silent and quiet by his rock, watching her almost as if he was some sort of stalker. She greeted him. It took him a moment to respond. "er.... hello" he replied awkwardly. The was soooo smooth... not. |

Sorry it's short >_>
He didn't seem as surprised to see her as she was to see him, and she wondered why. Maybe he just wasn't the kind of wolf to be surprised by such trivial things, maybe he had heard her wing-beats and prepared himself for meeting another. Lee didn't know why, but she let it go, not interesting in finding out anyway. It took a while for him to respond and she frowned, tiling her head to the side, her large wings beating up and down slowly to keep her aloft. He didn't seem that keen on her being here so she smirked a little. "You alright there? You seem a bit... off." She didn't know how else to explain it. Maybe he was hurt, or maybe he was just shy, whatever the case, she thought she better check to see if he was okay just in case he wasn't.
Cry me a river...
