Massive wings swept across the edges of the dusted earth. The sun had risen high that morning, and it certainly was the day for flight. The dark leader landed, multicolored eyes gazing up at the sky and his fur bristled in the wind. It had been a quiet few weeks but he had hopes that soon the clan would become more lively once they knew about this place. When the elders left him in charge, a great number of the other members left, unable to cooperate with the fact that Tokage was going to be the new Creator. Tokage was starting from scratch now, in lieu of the absence of the other great leaders before him.
His favorite spot to spend a nice afternoon was to take a dip in the fresh mountain spring river that was cool enough to get a refreshing start to a good day. As he began to descend into the waters, a brief rush from the transfer from normal temperature to cold. He settled in after a while though, feeling a cool sense of relief to his body as he soaked in nature's blessing. It seemed almost too peaceful here, much different from his previous life in his old tribe. Peace was something that they strove for, but in the end someone had to pick a fight with them. Tokage was always caught up in battle after battle, and had he not been as clever as some didn't take him to be, he probably wouldn't have been able to make it that far in the war tribe. He lived a life by the warrior's code, but he remained at peace since he came to Demi Sanctus. For now the tribe of the Tenrai would linger in the blissful calm that it has kept for all these years. He was, unfortunately, getting a bit bored with the regular schedule that always seemed to remain all day and night. Some action would be nice, just some good neighborhood clash. He shook his head, for he knew that he shouldn't be thinking about violence and fighting at such a time as this. After all, it was peace that he was taught how to earn. He couldn't give that up now. |

Lee hated to admit it even to herself as she slipped through the trees of claimed territory, her bright blue eyes scanning the area warily for any sign of movement. It wasn't her fault she was trespassing now, she had been flying all night and had had to set down somewhere. It was just her bad luck that this somewhere happened to be claimed territory. She was damn lucky she hadn't run into anybody yet, but she was sure if she just kept heading in one direction she'd come to the end of the pack land at some point. Cry me a river...

His ears flicked back at the sound of footsteps approaching, and at first he assumed that it was another pack member, but then soon the wind was in his favor, which brought the others scent to Kage. He felt the hairs begin to raise on his back, but with the way things have been, he didn't feel as threatened. None of his pack mates were around, thus it would be a good time to do some communal exercises.
Just before the female tried to disappear, Tokage spoke. "Don't go, stay for a while," He rose to his feet, bringing forth his being, his entirety. A massive creature Tokage was, built under the standards of his breed, for there was to be no weakness, no flaws for a Pyralis. He was born under his God Hephaestus, and he was making sure that his work would certainly not go to waste. Turning to look at the intruder, Tokage got a good view...well not that good, but enough for him to get a look at her face. Perhaps he just wanted some slight entertainment. "Welcome to Demi Sanctus, miss..." he let the title linger on indicating that it would be nice to get a name out of the female. He was pretty straight forward, not much of a charmer, since his life did not involve silly emotional things such as love or hate, everything was neutral from where he came from, and he kept it that way. |

"Don't go, stay for a while," Lee pursed her lips and frowned, peering back around to the large intimidating figure behind her. It was rather strange, she noted, for him to be saying such a thing to her. Shouldn;t he be angry? Shouldn't he be telling her to get the hell off his lands? She didn't know if he was the leader, but she wa pretty sure that any member, leader or not, would still want a stranger off their pack lands. Slowly she turned around, her large feathery wings tucked closely to her side as she slipped from the protection of the trees to stand before him. He was bigger than her, she noticed, but that was expected seeing as she was simply a Hova, built spry and light. Her fur was fluffed up and she tilted her head to the side and kept quiet, waiting expectantly for him to tell her off.
He never did. Her ears twitched and her blue eyes looked at him curiously from her golden face. "Jubilee." She finished for him, her voice not as sweet or girly as her appearance suggested. She smirked. "Isn't this the part where you tell me to get off your land?" She hadn't been expecting a greeting like this. Sure, she had been lost, come onto these lands by accident, but she hadn't expected for a pack member to welcome her so kindly. She wondered vaguely if it was some kind of trick and her icy blue eyes looked about her into the foliage. Hm. She'd have to keep her eyes and ears peeled. Cry me a river...

It was because he had taken in a couple sets of smoke intake to last him for a few more hours until he would sober up again. For now, instead of getting on his more grumpier side, Tokage was more relaxed then ever, allowing his body to get the chance to let loose a little, which he felt that everyone should do more often. It was of course, not formal or right for him to just sit there while another was prancing around his newly taken land, but there really wasn't anything better to do, and if the female decided to do anything smart, then he would have her head on a platter. That simple. But for now, it was just a chance for Tokage to get to know some other characters that were roaming around, and in his current state, he just wanted to chill and talk.
Tokage let out an amused laugh as the female still looked rather unconvinced that Tokage wasn't going to shoo her off his land. She was still curious about whether or not he was actually being this easy going, especially since he was the leader of the Tenrai clan. But for Tokage, it was almost as if he was doing a bit of recruitment, since his member quota was running low, he needed to get around and search for potential new members, even though he really just wanted Avari to make that decision themselves. "Normally I would," he stated, a blue eye turning to look at her. "But I don't feel like playing the old grumpy boarder patrol guy," he grinned stupidly. Though he stared at the Hova, giving her a rather serious look before speaking again. "Of course if you're here to stir up trouble, then I guess I'd have to get up and chase your ass out, huh?" he questioned, but the stern look was soon broken by a trademark smirk. He wasn't too high off his rocker for someone who just took in too much drugs, but his head was in the clouds, probably too far up. "I'm Tokage Endo, Creator of the Tenrai clan and for now, a tour guide of Demi Sanctus for wandering pilgrims," he chuckled. He really needed to cut back on the inhalants. |

He seemed amused by the fact that she didn't trust his amiability, but generally when one tresspassed one got told off, and she was just confused as to why he wasn't telling her off. She had never heard of anyone getting high on smoke before, so she just assumed his general personality was this laid back. Lee hadn't survived two years of being a loner by not being cautious. She hoped he didn't take it personally, but she'd rather be safe than sorry. She shrugged her shoulders as if it didn't bother her on way or the other. "Fair enough." Maybe he just didn't think her too much of a threat to bother chasing her out. She grinned and tilted her head to the side innocently, raising her eyebrows. "Me? Oh no, I'm a good girl, wouldn't even dream of it." The playful smile stayed on her lips as she watched him. Lee liked to make trouble, but she wasn't stupid enough to go around making trouble in the middle of someon else's pack lands.
She chuckled, her thick tail flicking from side to side. "Jubilee Skye." So he was the leader of this pack! Well she was god damn lucky he was in such a good mood, hopefully it would only wear off by the time she got out of here. She didn't want to find he became mr. grumpy half way through a conversation. "Why not. I've been flying all day it'll be nice to give my wings a rest. So what will you show me first, Tokage? Or do you wish for me to call you 'sir'?" She said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. Maybe she could have some fun with this without getting into too much trouble. Cry me a river...
