Trial of the Argo
In search of the Golden Fleece
During the years of plenty on the corrupt planet, the world was rife with sacred objects, relics of the Gods that heralded promises of greatness to the possessor. Adventures and trials, dangers untold and alluring obstacles were often part of these great journeys that mere mortals were called to tackle, and more oft than not the end of such an exploit was death. While the voyages were epic and the dangers vast, the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow were well worth the peril; immortality and riches, fame and notoriety were favorite rewards.

The tale of Jason and the Argonauts is long survived in the memories of old, where the greatest of the mortal cloth came as one to a single endeavor. For but a single icon, The Golden Fleece, a crew of a hundred men gathered and worked as one toward a common, obscure goal. While the world of old boasted no clear power in the item, throughout the centuries of safe guard by the Gods, the gleaming skin has come to take on magical, elemental qualities that even the Gods themselves are uncertain of.

Fearing abuse by Zeus and those more easily swayed, Hera, queen Goddess, stowed the fleece far from the realm of Olympus, deep within the untouched recesses of the island archipelago to the North. Within the cavern she placed traps and tests as dangerous and taxing as those that the original Argonauts endured, all with the intent of keeping those of a capricious nature at bay.

Trial of the Argo is a plot specific to the Colchis Labrynth in the North, most specifically to the deep bowels of the subterranean tunnels that run linked between the islands. Groups of three or more adventurers are most likely to endure the trials set down by the queen Goddess Hera, and would be best served to have copious amounts of bravery and quickness of the mind. The safe guards that have been laid down are copious and can be dangerous to those not clever enough to evade the peril.

To participate, several characters of any creed and sex must band together, and set out to explore the labyrinth, specifying their intent with a thread tag of TotA, Trial of the Argo, or something similar. Participants can not determine when they encounter a trial laid out by Hera; such an encounter will be presented by one of the admin on the Olympiad account. It is then up to the players to determine how to best work around, vanquish, or riddle out the trial presented.

Soooo... Do we post here to form our groups, or what? *blinks* Because I totally have to throw Pris into this. ::D

Eh, I just went ahead and made a thread: HERE Since no one's responding to any of my other threads anyhow. Maybe this one will go better? :)
